April 30th, 2007 - May 15th, 2007

On Tuesday 5-15-07 at 1131hrs the Lansdowne Police Department responded to the Penn Wood High School for two subjects in custody in the office for fighting. Upon investigation, it was learned that a fight broke out on a school bus that took four security officers to brake up. Two students were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.


On Monday 5-14-07 at 1513hrs, Sgt James McCaughan of the Lansdowne Borough Police Department was flagged down by a victim who stated that she was just threatened with a gun. She pointed to a red Mercury near the intersection of Baltimore and Highland Ave. Upon speaking to the driver of that vehicle, Sgt. McCaughan detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on the subject's breath and slurred speech. Robert Michael Louge 53yrs old of the 100 block of Walsh Rd. was taken into custody and charged with DUI, Terroristic threats and harassment. It turned out no weapon was ever seen by the victim.


On Thursday 5-10-07 at 1150hrs the Lansdowne Police Department responded to the Penn Wood High School for fight. Upon investigation, it was learned that school officials had three students in custody for fighting, one of them had a broken nose. Police issued three citations for disorderly conduct.


On Sunday 5-6-07 at 0123hrs, Officer Kevin Kienzle observed a gray Chevy parked in an abandoned buildings parking lot at Baltimore and Highland Ave. The vehicle had its headlights on, keys in the ignition and the engine was running. Upon further investigation, the driver, Donald Frazier 37yrs old of the 6500 block of Windsor Ave. in Philadelphia was arrested for DUI.


On Saturday 5-5-07 at 0313hrs, Officer Kevin Kienzle observed a gold colored Subaru driven at a high rate of speed proceeding east bound on Baltimore Ave. Officer Kienzle did stop this vehicle and identified the driver as Sean Chambers 24yrs old of the 100 block of Westbrook Dr. in Clifton Heights PA. Upon investigation, Chambers was arrested for DUI and related traffic offenses.


On Wednesday 5-2-07 at 1124hrs, the Lansdowne Police Department responded to the Penn Wood High School for a fight. Upon arrival, two students were in custody in the High School Office. Terell Strickland 18 yrs old of the 100 block of Golf Rd. in Darby and another juvenile male were both returned to police headquarters and issued citations for disorderly conduct.


On Wednesday 5-2-07 at 1445hrs, the Lansdowne Borough Police Department responded to the Penn Wood High School for a report of an unwanted subject on location. During the subsequent investigation, a clash between officers and students ensued resulting in for students being arrested. Charges stemmed from Aggravated assault to resisting arrest. Actors were referred to the juvenile court system.


On Wednesday 5-2-07 at 0435hrs, Carmen Nickerson 25yrs old was observed manifestly under the influence of alcohol on a public sidewalk. Nickerson was charged with Public Drunkenness and provided a ride home by the arresting officer.


On Monday 4-30-07 at 1328hrs, the Lansdowne Police Department responded to the Penn Wood High School for a fight between two students. Upon investigation, two students were arrested and returned to headquarters were they were issued citations for disorderly conduct.


On Monday 4-30-07 at 1125hrs, the Lansdowne Police Department responded to the Penn Wood High School for two students in custody under the influence of marijuana. Upon investigation, both students admitted to smoking marijuana and returning to school grounds. Both were issued citations for disorderly conduct.
