On Wednesday April 25th 2007 at 1919hrs, the Upper Darby Police Narcotics division along with Lansdowne Police detectives did serve an arrest warrant at the Marshall House Apartments located in the borough of Lansdowne. The suspect, Henry Fleuridor 19yrs old of the 200 block of Wabash Ave., was taken into police custody without incident. Fleuridor is accused of selling marijuana to undercover detectives inside of the apartment complex. A search of the suspect's home was conducted and several nickel bags of suspected marijuana were recovered.
On Tuesday April 24th 2007 at 0800hrs, an attempted abduction of a 13yr old female was reported to the Lansdowne Police Department. The incident occurred in the area of East Lacrosse and North Highland Ave. while the victim was walking to school. The actor is described as a black male 40 to 50yrs old 5'9" to 6'0" tall with wavy dark hair. He was driving a four door midsize sedan light gray in color. Actor did exit his vehicle, approach the girl and grabbed her by the hand and attempted to take her into the car. The victim was able to free herself from his grip and run to school where the Principal called the police. Anyone with information should contact the LPD at 610-623-0700.
On Monday April 23rd 2007 at 2124hrs, Officer Smalley of the Lansdowne Borough Police Department witnessed a reckless driver in the area of Lansdowne Ave. and Scottdale Rd. strike a parked vehicle. Officer Smalley initiated a traffic stop and spoke with the driver identified as Matthew Hubis 24yr old from the unit block of Chelton Rd. in Parkside PA. Upon investigation, Hubis was arrested for DUI and related traffic offenses.
On Saturday April 21st 2007 at 1033hrs, the LPD responded to several calls for a fight outside and criminal mischief in progress in the area of Lansdowne and Dudley Aves. Upon speaking with the complainant, police arrested suspect Cori Fisher 23yrs old of the 1600 block of Garrett Rd. in Upper Darby. Fisher was subsequently charged with simple assault, harassment, stalking, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
On Saturday April 21 2007 at 0036hrs, the Lansdowne Police Department responded to a report of a armed robbery that had just occurred at the Empire Diner at the intersection of Baltimore and Union Aves. Sgt. John Eisenhart of the Lansdowne Police Department did respond to the scene and observed the suspect, identified as Amir Sanchez 26yrs old of the 1800 block of N. 54th St. in Philadelphia running south bound on Union Ave. carrying a cash register drawer. Sgt. Eisenhart engaged the suspect in a foot pursuit and was able to take the subject into custody with the assistance of a civilian employee of the diner. The suspect was armed with a loaded 9mm semi automatic handgun with the serial number filed off.
