On August 28th, 2007 at 1233hrs, the Lansdowne Police Department responded to the CVS store located on the 100 Block of East Baltimore Ave. for a report of a theft that had just occurred. Responding officers located a witness who pointed to a subject on Union Ave. Upon investigation Walter Pannell 47 of the 500 block of Hampton Rd. in Upper Darby was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.


On August 27, 2007 at 2115hrs, the Lansdowne Police were dispatched to the intersection of Wycombe and Baltimore Ave. for a report of a subject down. Upon arrival, Gertrude Gidea 49 of the unit block of E. Baltimore Ave. was found to be extremely intoxicated. She was charged with Public Drunkenness and housed overnight.


On August 27th, 2007 at 1750hrs, the Lansdowne Police Department received a report of a theft of an Apple ipod from a motor vehicle. Upon investigation, a 16 year old juvenile male was taken into custody. Three other reported car break-ins reported the same day on Willowbrook, W. Greenwood and Bryn Mawr Avenues are still being investigated.


On August 24th, 2007 at 1055hrs, the LPD received a report of a retail theft that occurred at the Dollar Tree store on N. Lansdowne Ave. Lansdowne Police Officer Christopher Craig observed offender Tenika Lee 25 of the unit block of Bartram Ave. in Lansdowne, pull a box of incense from under her shirt and drop it on the ground as she left the store. Lee was arrested and charged with retail theft.


On August 22nd, 2007 at 1258hrs, Eugene Keating 45 of the 2000 block of Garrett Rd. in Upper Darby was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness. Lansdowne Police were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Highland Ave. for a report of a disturbance. Keating was highly intoxicated and did struggle with responding officers while they were attempting to place him in handcuffs. Keating was held overnight a t the police station.


On August 21st, 2007 at 1900hrs, Chloritha Magee 33 of the unit block of S Lansdowne Ave. was taken into custody for outstanding warrants out of Philadelphia. Police were dispatched to the Ath-Dara apartments for a report of a disturbance. Upon investigation, Magee was found to have two warrants from the Phila. Courts. She was taken into police custody and turned over to Phila. Warrant Division without incident.


On August 15th, 2007 at 1845hrs, the LPD responded to the Dollar Tree store on N. Lansdowne Ave. for a report of two subjects smoking marijuana. Offender Jamal Hairston 19, of the 6000 block of Washington ave. in Philadelphia was located in front of the old Movie Theater. Hairston was in possession of a green small amount of a green leafy vegetable matter which field tested positive for THC. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct.
